Sa datos ng U.S Geological Survey o USGS, ang nasabing pagyanig ay naramdaman sa matataas na gusali at kinailangang ilikas at pababain ang mga empleyado.
Ayon sa USGS, naitala ang pagyanig sa 257 km o 160 miles south ng Mexico City sa southwestern state n Guerrero.
May lalim na 37 kilometers o 23 miles ang pagyanig.
Ayon kay Mexico emergency services agency head Luis Felipe Puente, walang napaulat na nasugatan at pinsala matapos ang lindol.
