5 coastal waters sa bansa nagpositibo sa shellfish poison

Positibo sa paralytic shellffish poison ang ilang dagat sa bansa.

Sa inilabas na abiso ng Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), mapanganib kainin ang shellfish sa mga sumusunod na lugar:

– Matarinao Bay sa Eastern Samar
– Cancato Bay sa Tacloban City, Leyte
– Lianga Bay sa Surigao del Sur
– Coastal waters ng Daius at Tagbilaran City sa Bohol, at
– Coastal waters sa Pampanga

Gayunman, nagpaalala ang BFAR na maaaring kainin ng publiko ang mga isda, pusit, hipon at alimango sa mga nabanggit na lugar basta’t lilinisin ito nang maayos.

Dagdag pa ng BFAR, ligtas na sa nakalalasong red tide ang Puerto Prinsesa Bay sa Palawan at coastal waters ng Bataan.
