Mga hindi nakaboto sa BOL plebiscite, pwede pang bumoto sa Mayo

Iginiit ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) na hindi diskwalipikasyon sa pagboto sa May 2019 elections ang kabiguang makaboto sa plebisito para sa ratipikasyon ng Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL).

Ayon kay Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez, ang isang rehistradong botante ay hindi lamang papayagang makaboto kung hindi ito nakaboto sa huling dalawang regular elections.

Ang plebisito anya ay isa lamang special election na isinasagawa dahil sa kaukulang layunin.

Ani Jimenez, mayroong mga text messages na kumakalat na iniuugnay ang plebisito sa BOL sa May 2019 elections.

Maaari anyang istratehiya ito para pataasin ang voter turn-out.

Bagama’t sang-ayon si Jimenez na mapataas ang voter turn-out, hindi naman siya sang-ayon sa paraan dahil ito anya ay isang uri ng panloloko.
