Grab pinagmulta ng P6.5M dahil sa hindi pagsusumite ng tamang datos na kailangan para sa price monitoring

Pinagbabayad ng P6.5 million na multa ng Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) ang ride-hailing firm na Grab.

Ito ay matapos na mabigo ang Grab na magsumite ng tama at sapat na datos na kailangan para sa price monitoring.

Inaprubahan ng PCC ang pagbili ng Grab sa kalaban nitong Uber noong Agosto matapos mangakong pananatilihing katanggap-tanggap ang pamasahe, at ipasasailalim ang kumpanya sa quarterly monitoring.

Ayon kay PCC Chairman Arsenio Balisacan, “deficient”, “inconsistent”, at “incorrect” ang mga datos na isinumite ng Grab noong August 10 hanggang November 10, 2018.

Hindi aniya magiging epektibo ang pagmonitor sa paniningil ng pamasahe ng Grab kung hindi ito magsusumite ng tamang datos sa tamang petsa.
