Mga sangkot sa kontrobersiyal na magnetic lifters na naglalaman ng shabu kinasuhan na ng NBI

Sinampahan na ng NBI ng patong-patong na reklamo sa DOJ ang halos 60 indibidwal na isinasangkot sa pagpasok sa bansa ng mga kontrobersyal na magnetic lifters na naglalaman ng shabu.

Kabilang sa mga kinasuhan ng katiwalian at administratibo si dating Customs Commissioner Isidro Lapena.

Ipinagharap ng NBI si Lapena ng reklamo dahil sa dereliction of duty, grave misconduct at criminal complaint dahil sa paglabag sa Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.

Kaugnay ito ng dalawang magnetic lifters na pinaglagyan ng shabu na nadiskubre sa Port of Manila at ang nadiskubreng magnetic lifters sa isang warehouse sa Cavite.

Kabilang sa mga respondents sa importation ng iligal na droga , graft at grave misconduct, sina dating PDEA Deputy Dir Gen Ismael Fajardo, Jr., Dating PNP AIDG OIC Sr Supt Eduardo Acierto, Dating Customs intelligence agent Jimmy Guban, Police Inspector Lito Pirote at Joseph Dimayuga.

Tumatayong complainant sa kaso ang NBI-Task Force Against Illegal Drugs.
