Nagsimula nang magpulong ang binuong Technical Working Group (TWG) na mag-aaral sa posibilidad na gawing public transport na ang motorcycle taxis o habal-habal.
Ngayong araw, Jan. 18 nagsimulang mag-convene ang grupo.
Sa unang pagpupulong tinalakay ng TWG standards at kapasidad ng motorsiklo at driver nito para mapayagan na gawing public transport.
Kabilang sa tinalakay ang accountability sa passenger safety sakaling masangkot ito sa aksidente habang may sakay at bumibiyahe.
Dumalo sa TWG meeting sina DOTr Undersecretary for Road Transport and Infrastructure Mark de Leon, LTO Assistant Secretary Edgar Galvante, LTO Law Enforcement Director Francis Almora, mga kinatawan mula sa MMDA, Senado, Kamara, commuter welfare groups, road safety advocates, motorcycle manufacturers, motorcycle organizations, at law schools.
