FDA binalaan ang publiko laban sa hindi rehistradong anti-rabbies vaccine
Nagpalabas ng babala sa publiko ang Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) kasunod ng rekomendasyon ni Health Secretary Francisco Duque III laban sa VERORAB isang anti-rabies vaccine na maglalagay sa panganib sa buhay ng sinumang matuturukan nito.
Ang hindi rehistradong gamot na orihinal na gawa ng Sanofi Pasteur, ay wala umanong label ng
FDA-Licensed Philippine Importer at Distributor; FDA Registration Number (BR-514); Rx symbol; paalala mula sa FDA at wala ring barcode.
Kasabay nito ay inalerto na rin ng FDA ang mga ospital at lahat ng local government units o LGUs na tiyakin hindi ito maipamamahagi o maibebenta.
Nagbabala din ang FDA sa mga nagbebenta ng nasabing gamot na maari silang mapatawan ng parusa.
