Dating cabinet member ni Obama na si Julian Castro, tatakbo sa 2020 US Presidential elections

Inanunsyo ni dating San Antonio, Texas Mayor Julian Castro ang kanyang pagtakbo sa 2020 elections sa Estados Unidos.

Naganap ang pag-aanunsyo ng apatnapu’t apat na taong gulang na si Castro sa Makasaysayang Guadalupe Plaza sa San Antonio.

Sa pagtakbong ni Castro, nais nitong maging kauna-unahang Hispanic president sa US at magbigyan ng pag-asa ang mga Amerikano.

Nais din aniya nitong magkaroon ng “hope at diversity” sa bansa sa panahon ngayon kung saan mainit na usapin ang immigration at border security sa US.

Isa si Castro sa mga tutol sa plano ni President Donald Trump na magkaroon ng border wall para hindi makapasok sa US ang mga illegal immigrant.

Samantala, madalas na tinawag bilang “rising star” ng Democratic Party si Castro na tumayo na bilang housing secretary ng Obama administration at pinakabatang miyembro nito.

Kasama ni Castro sina dating US Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Rep. John Delaney, Sen. Richard Ojeda, Andre Yang at iba pa sa ilalim ng Democratic party para sa 2020 US elections.
