Mobile Legends, Dota 2, pasok sa shortlist ng medal games sa 2019 SEA Games

Inanunsyo ng Philippine SEA Games Organizing Committee at ng Razer kahapon, araw ng Biyernes, ang limang eSports games na pasok sa shortlist para sa medal events sa magaganap na 2019 SEA Games.

Napili ng Philippine sports officials ang mga sumusunod na laro sa PC, mobile, Xbox at Playstation:

PC Games
– Dota 2
– Starcraft II

Mobile Games
– Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
– Arena of Valor

Console Games
– Tekken 7

Bubuksan ang naturang mga laro sa mga teams sa parehong men and women category.

Ilan sa mga kinonsidera sa pagpili sa mga laro ay ang physical and mental intensity, strategy at teamwork, level of popularity and competitiveness.

Matatandaang noong November 27, inanunsyo ng sports officials na ang eSports ay magiging medal event sa 2019 SEA Games kung saan ito ay kauna-unahang beses sa international sports scene.
