Retired General Kintanar itinalaga ni Pang. Duterte bilang pinuno ng PCA
Isa na namang retiradong heneral ang binigyang-pwesto sa gobyerno ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Sa kaniyang talumpati sa change of command ceremony ng Philippine Air Force sa Villamor Air Base sa Pasay City inanunsyo ni Pangulong Duterte na itatalaga niya si Air Force chief Lieutenant General Galileo Gerard Kintanar bilang pinuno ng Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA).
Kinumpirma rin ng pangulo na hiniling niya ang pagbibitiw sa pwesto ng lahat ng board member ng PCA para mabigyang pagkakataon ang reorganization sa ahensya.
Ani Duterte matagal nang nababalutan ng korapsyon ang PCA.
Kareretiro lamang ni Kintanar sa Air Force at sa naturang seremonya na dinaluhan ng pangulo ay pormal nitong isinalin ang pamumuno kay bagong Air Force chief, Lt. Gen. Rozzano Briguez.
