Mini skirt, t-shirt at Facebook bawal na sa mga hukuman

Ipagbabawal na sa mga korte sa bansa ang pagsusuot ng mini-skirts, mga t-shirts na walang kwelyo at ang pag-gamitng cellphone.

Ito ay kaugnay ng kautusan ni Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin na magpatupad ng dress code sa mga regional trial courts maging sa gusali ng Court of Tax Appeals,  Court of Appeals at sa Supreme Court.

Ikinatwiran ni Bersamin na nais niyang ibalik ang respeto at magandang imahe sa sangay ng hudikatura.

“It’s high time we went back to that image of the judiciary that is very respected, the judiciary that is conscious of its place in society,” ayon sa kanya.

Naniniwala ang chief justice na anumang kilos ng mga empleyadong korte, maliit man o malaki ay may epekto sa uri ng serbisyong ibinibigay sa publiko.

Bukod sa dress code ipagbabawal din ang paggamit ng cellular phone sa gusali ng hudikatura partikular ang Facebook.

Si Bersamin ay nakatakdang magretiro sa October 18, 2019.
