16 na volcanic earthquakes naitala sa Mt. Kanlaon sa nakalipas na magdamag

Nakapagtala ang Phivolcs ng labinganim na volcanic earthquakes sa Mt. Kanlaon sa nakalipas na 24 na oras.

Ayon sa Phivolcs as of kahapon, Dec. 9, 2018, umabot na sa 101 tonnes kada araw ang average na sukat ng sulfur dioxide emission ng bulkan.

Nananatiling nakataas ang alert level 2 sa bulkan na ang ibig sabihin ay nasa ilalim ito ng moderate level of unrest.

Pinayuhan ng Phivolcs ang lokal na pamahalaan na tiyaking naipatutupad ang pagbabawal na mapasok ang 4-kilometer radius Permanent Danger Zone (PDZ) ng bulkan.
