NPA member patay sa engkwentro sa Masbate

Patay ang isang hinihinalang miyembro ng New People’s Army (NPA) sa engkwentro na naganap sa bayan ng Aroroy sa Masbate.

Naganap ang engkwentro Biyernes (Nov. 30) ng umaga sa Barangay Cabas.

Ayon kay Brig. Gen. Greg Almerol, commander ng 903rd Infantry Brigade ng Philippine Army, nagsasagawa ng combat operation ang mga sundalo at mga pulis nang maka-engwentro nila ang nasa pitong NPA.

Tumagal ng 10 minuto ang bakbakan.

Kinilala ang nasawi na si Nelson Rabino alyas Masoy habang tumakas naman ang iba pa niyang kasamahan.

Nakuha sa lugar ang calibre 45 baril at claymore mine na isang uri ng pampasabog.
