Brazil umatras sa pagho-host ng UN climate change conference
Binawi ng Brazil ang naunang alok nito na magsilbing host sa UN climate change conference na magaganap sana sa susunod na taon.
Sa inilabas na pahayag ng foreign ministry office ng Brazil, fiscal at budget constraints ang dahilan sa pag-atras nito bilang host sa 2019 climate change conference.
Hindi naman nagustuhan ng environmental groups ang naging pasya ng Brazil.
Ayon sa World Wildlife Fund sa Brazil, ang pasyang ito ng Brazil ay mistulang suporta sa naging campaign promise ni President-elect Jair Bolsonaro na magpu-pull out ang bansa sa Paris Accord hinggi sa climate change.
