Kinilala ang biktima na si Dominic Sytin na siyang founder at chief executive officer ng United Auctioneers Inc. Part owner din siya ng ACEA Subic Bay resort.
Batay sa paunang impormasyon ng mga otoridad, nasa labas ng Lighthouse Hotel si Sytin nang barilin ng hindi pa nakikilalang mga salarin na sakay ng isang motorsiklo.
Nasugatan sa insidente ang bodyguard ng biktima at sa ngayon ay nagpapagaling na sa ospital.
Dahil sa naturang pamamaslang, ipinag-utos ni Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) chairman Wilma Eisma ang lockdown sa Freeport Zone.
