JBC may shortlist na para sa bakanteng associate justice post sa SC

May shortlist na ang Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) para sa bakanteng pwesto bilang associate justice ng Korte Suprema.

Ang naturang pwesto ay nabakante nang mahirang bilang punong mahistrado ang nagretirong si Teresita Leonardo De Castro.

Napabilang sa shortlist ang mga sumusunod:

CA Justice Manuel Barrios (6 votes)
CA Justice Apolinario Bruselas (6 votes)
CA Justice Edgardo Delos Santos (6 votes)
CA Justice Japar Dimaampao (6 votes)
CA Justice Ramon Garcia (6 votes)
CA Justice Amy Lazaro-Javier (6 votes)
CA Justice Rosmari Carandang (5 votes)

Labingdalawa ang naging aplikante para sa nasabing pwesto.

Agad isusumite kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang nasabing shortlist na siya namang hihirang ng iluluklok na bagong mahistrado sa Korte Suprema.
