Duterte supporters, pinahihinto sa paggawa ng fake news tungkol sa pangulo
Nanawagan ang isang opisyal ng Malacañang sa mga taga-suporta ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na itigil ang pagpapakalat ng fake news tungkol sa presidente.
Sa sidelines ng Facebook Community Standards Feedback Forum sa Singapore, sinabi ni Communications Undersecretary Lorraine Badoy na mahigpit ang kampanya ng Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) laban sa disinformation.
Ayon sa opisyal hindi kailangan ng mga pro-Duterte supporters na magpakalat ng fake news para lang mapabango ang pangalan ng pangulo.
Giit ni Badoy, nagsusumikap ang pangulo at hindi makakailang maganda ang nagagawa nito.
“If there are pro-Duterte supporters who think that they have to spread fake news, I think we need to tell them that you don’t need to. The President is doing a wonderful job. Please don’t lie about him. He does not need that,” ayon sa opisyal.
Anya, ang pinakamagandang paraan para labanan ang misinformation ay ang pagtaguyod sa media literacy.
Suportado niya umano ang ginagawa ng Facebook upang wakasan ang pagkalat ng mga pekeng balita kabilang na ang pagbura sa mga pages na may malisyosong laman at nagpapakita ng suporta sa pangulo.
