Malacañang: Karapatan sa West Philippine Sea hindi isusuko sa China

Naniniwala ang Malacañang na hindi pa huli ang lahat para igiit ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa China ang naging ruling ng Court of Permanent Arbitral Tribunal sa South China Sea.

Ito ay kahit na nangangalahati na si Pangulong Duterte sa kanyang anim na taong panunungkulan sa palasyo.

Paliwanag ni Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, walang maituturing na late sa paghahain ng protesta kung ang pinanghahawakan naman ng Pilipinas ay ang naging award ng arbitral court.

“It can never too late when you protest on a particular thing, especially when the award is yours”, ayon pa sa opisyal.

Sinabi pa ni Panelo na tanging si Pangulong Duterte lamang ang nakaalam sa perfect timing para igiit ang desisyon ng hukuman.

Tiniyak pa ni Panelo na maghahain din ng diplomatic protest ang Pilipinas kapag nakumpirma ng Department of Foreign Affairs na nagbukas na ang China ng weather stations sa mga ginawang artificial islands sa Kagitingan, Subi at Panganiban reefs.
