DOTr pinarerebisa sa LTFRB ang paraan ng pagkakaloob ng fare increase
Nais ng Department of Transportation na pag-aralang muli ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ang inaprubahan nitong dagdag na pamasahe sa jeep.
Ayon kay DOTr Sec. Arthur Tugade, dapat ding pag-aralan ng LTFRB ang pagkakaroon ng formula na maaring gawing automatic na lamang ang fare adjustment.
Inihalimbawa pa ni Tugade ang sinusunod na matrix sa aviation sector kung saan ang rate adjustments sa fuel surcharges ay base sa presyo ng kada bariles ng langis.
Sa ngayon ani Tugade ang nangyayari sa presyo ng pamasahe sa jeep at bus ay dumedepende sa mga petisyon para sa fare hike.
