“So far during the past few days wala pa naman tayong nakitang untoward incidents although may mga shooting incidents tayong nakikita, I think mga two or three. But based on our review of all the reports coming in from different police offices all over the country, generally, napaka-peaceful naman, in terms of any untoward incidents in relation on the filing of the COC wala pa naman tayong nakita so far,” ani Durana.

“Malaking tulong po iyan, dahil alam niyo naman based on the culture, maraming factors why there are proliferation of armed men at proliferation of loose firearms in that area. Ang kultura, ang gun culture in that area, not only in that area but all over in the country, probably more intense and more magnified in that part of the Philippines. Kaya nga itong batas militar na ipinatupad eh ngayon ang siga na lang doon talaga ay ang ating uniformed personnel ang PNP at Armed Forces of the Philippines,” dagdag pa ni Durana.
