WATCH: 2nd tranche ng excise tax sa petrolyo, pinasususpinde ni Pang. Duterte
Nakatakdang suspendihin ng gobyerno ang ikalawang tranche ng excise tax sa mga produktong langis.
Inanunsyo ito ni Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go sa kanyang pagdalo sa paglulunsad ng TienDA Malasakit sa Taguig City ngayong araw ng Linggo (October 14).
Aniya, mayroon nang pinirmahan si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte hinggil sa suspensyon ng pagpapataw ng excise tax at epektibo ito sa Enero 2019. 
Ayon kay Go, isususpinde ang excise tax “until the right time.”
Ang hakbang ng pamahalaan ay bunsod ng madalas na pagtaas sa presyo ng oil products, at epekto na rin ng inflation.
Nasa dalawang piso (P2.00) kada litro ng produktong petrolyo ang excise tax na ipapataw sakaling matuloy ang implementasyon ng 2nd tranche.
