Pagbuo sa Office of the Press Secretary minamadali ng Malacañang
Magkatuwang sina Executive Sec. Salvador Medialdea at Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Sec. Martin Andanar sa pagbalangkas binubuong Office of the Press Secretary (OPS).
Ang OPS ang siyang papalit sa trabaho ng PCOO oras na ito ay mabuo alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Nauna nang sinabi ng pangulo na ang OPS ay pamumunuan ni Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo.
Sa panayam ay sinabi ni Andanar na titiyakin nilang magiging maayos ang transition mula sa PCOO tungo sa OPS.
Lumutang rin ang mga ulat na itatalaga ng pangulo si Andanar bilang bagong Presidential Adviser on Political Affairs na dating hawak ni Sec. Francis Tolentino na sinasabing tatakbo bilang senador sa 2019 elections.
