Tatakbong gobernador sa lalawigan ng Sorsogon si Senator Chiz Escudero.

Naghain ng COC ang senador sa Provincial Office ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) sa Sorsogon.

Tatakbo si Escudero sa ilalim ng Nationalist People’s Coalition.

Sa 2019 matatapos ang termino ni Escudero sa senado.

Bago maging senador ay naging kinatawan ng lalawigan si Escudero mula 1998 hanggang 2007.
