Pinag-iisipan na ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque ang magbitiw sa kaniyang pwesto.
Ito ay matapos ang pahayag ni Roque sa media noong Miyerkules na hindi naospital ang pangulo subalit kagabi ay kinumpirma ni Pangulong Duterte na dinala siya sa Cardinal Santos Medical Center para sa mga pagsusuri.
Ayon kay Roque, hindi siya magiging epektibong tagapagsalita kung hindi niya alam ang lahat ng tungkol sa pangulo.
Paano pa aniya siya paniniwalaan ng publiko kung sinabi niyang ang pangulo ay nagkakaroon lamang ng “private time” pero ang totoo pala ay sumailalim ito sa diagnostic exams?
“I cannot be an effective spokesperson unless I know everything about the President. I was in the dark, how can the people believe me when I said he had private time but he had a diagnostic exam,” ayon kay Roque.
Ani Roque, pag-iisipan niyang mabuti ang kaniyang mga opsyon ngayong weekend.
Pero aniya, sa tingin niya ay “medyo hindi siya karapat-dapat” sa pwesto dahil “wala siyang alam”.
“I will think twice about my options and need the weekend to think. Medyo hindi na ako karapat-dapat dito dahil wala akong alam,” dagdag pa ni Roque.
Tiniyak naman ni Roque sa Palace media na magkikita-kita pa sila sa Lunes.
