Isang PDEA official, sinibak dahil sa umano’y pagpuslit ng droga
Sinibak ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) ang isa nilang mataas na opisyal na umano’y may alam sa ipinuslit na P6.8 bilyong halaga ng shabu.
Pahayag ito ni PDEA chief Aaron Aquino sa joint investigation ng House Committees on Dangerous Drugs at Government and Public Accountability.
Ayon kay Aquino, sinibak si Director III Ismael Fajardo noong September 14 bilang OIC Deputy Director General for Administration ng PDEA.
Ito ay matapos aniya nilang madiskubre na alam ni Fajardo ang tungkol sa shabu shipment mula China.
Bukod kay Fajardo ay may alam din si PDEA agent Jimmy Guban, dating Bureau of Customs (BOC) intelligence officer at isa sa mga akusado sa pagpasok sa bansa ng apat na magnetic lifters.
Nanindigan naman si Aquino na may lamang shabu ang apat na magnetic lifters na nadiskubre sa Cavite at nagkakahalaga ng P6.8 bilyon.
