DOJ tutulong sa pagpili ng ikatlong Telco sa bansa
Tutulong ang Department of Justice (DOJ) sa pagpili ng ikatlong telecommunications company na mag-ooperate sa bansa.
Ayon kay Justice sec. Menardo Guevarra, partikular na magiging partisipasyon ng DOJ ang pag-review ng terms of reference para sa ikatlong telco.
Kabilang din aniya ang pag-aaral sa mga kontrata, lisensya at permit na ibibigay sa papasok sa telco.
Kinumpirma rin ni Guevarra na humingi ng tulong sa DOJ ang National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) hinggil sa nasabing usapin
Sa ngayon, dalawa lamang ang major telecommunication companies na nag-ooperate sa bansa, ang PLDT-Smart at Globe Telecom.
