Bagong eco-friendly bus solusyon sa traffic sa EDSA — DOTr
Ipinagmalaki ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) ang mga modernong bus na sinasabing isa sa mga solusyon upang maibsan ang traffic sa EDSA.
Transportation Assistant Secretary Mark De Leon, kayang magsakay ng mga bus ng hanggang sa 120 mga pasahero.
Sa pamamagitan aniya nito ay ma-mamaximize ang ridership ng mga pasahero sa mga lungsod.
Kumpara sa mga bus na kasalukuyang tumatakbo sa mga lansangan, mas maluwag at mayroon itong pasilidad para sa mga persons with disability (PWD), senior citizen, at mga buntis.
Bukod pa ito sa mas environment friendly ang mga modernong bus dahil sa Euro 4 o Euro 5 na mga makina.
Mayroon din itong surveillance camera, TV monitor, at comfort room.
Umaasa ang DOTr na puro modernong bus ang tatakbo sa mga kalsada sa buong bansa pagdating ng 2020.
