AFP, nasa proseso na para magconvene ng General Court Martial sa isyu ni Trillanes
Sa utos ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, magko-convene na ang general court martial ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) kasunod ng pagpapawalang-bisa sa amnestiya ni Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV.
Iginiit ni AFP spokesperson Col. Edgard Arevalo na susundin pa rin ng militar ang chain of command at ang rule of law.
Nasa proseso na anya ang AFP para mag-convene ng General Court Martial alinsunod sa mandato nila sa ilalim ng Presidential Proclamation 572.
Ang hakbang ng AFP ay sa kabila ng paggiit ni Trillanes na walang hurisdiksyon sa kanya ang court martial dahil isa na siyang sibilyan.
Pwede anyang mag-convene ang court martial pero isa na siyang Senador kaya hindi na siya sakop nito.
