Mga economic managers ni Pangulong Duterte ipinasisibak ni House Minority Leader Suarez
Kasunod ng pagtaas sa 6.4% ng inflation rate ng bansa noong buwan ng Agosto hinikayat ni House Minority Leader Danilo Suarez si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na sibakin na ang kanyang mga economic managers.
Kabilang sa ipinasisibak ni Suarez ang mga tinawag nitong prime movers sa economic team partikulat sina Budget Secretary Benjamin Diokno, Finance Secretary Carlos Dominques, Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon Lopez, at National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Director-General Ernesto Pernia.
Ayon kay Suarez, hindi na kayang gampanan ng mga nasabing opisyal ang mga iniatang sa kanilang trabaho.
Bukod dito hinikayat naman ni House Senior Minority Leader Lito Atienza si Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez na makinig sa karaingan ng iba’t-ibang chamber of commerce.
Nagpahayag naman ng pagkabahala si Ako Bicol Representative Alfredo Garbin sa mataas na inflation rate na kaakibat ang pagkakaroon ng umento sa sahod.
Posible anyang hindi na ito kayanin ng ekonomiya dahil sa mahinang pasok ng foreign direct investment ng bansa.
