BIR iimbestigahan ang kidnap for ransom sa mga revenue officers nito

Iniimbestigahan na ng Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) ang umanoy mga ulat na ilan sa mga opisyal nito ay dinukot.
Bilang kapalit ng mga umano’y dinukot na revenue officers ay humihingi anga mga ito ng ransom.
Ayon sa BIR, kahit hindi pa beripikado at nakukumpirma ay kanilang seryosong iniimbestigahan ang mga nasabing mga insidente.
Ito ay para malaman ang katotohanan sa likod ng mga ulat at para makapagpatupad ng kaukulang security plan para mabigyan ng proteksiyon ang mga tauhan nito.
