Duterte, dismayado sa pagpayag ng korte na makadalo sa kasal ng anak si Zaldy Ampatuan

Dismayado si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa naging desisyon ni Judge Solis Reyes ng Quezon City Regional Trial Court branch 221 nang payagang makalabas ng kulungan para dumalo sa kasal ng anak si dating Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) governor Zaldy Ampatuan na isa sa mga mastermind sa Maguindanao massacre.

Ayon kay Presidential spokesman Harry Roque, kaisa ang pangulo sa pagtutol ng panel of prosecutors sa naging mosyon ng kampo Ampatuan.

Tiniyak naman ni Roque na walang implikasyon sa kaso ang pansamantalang paglabas ng kulungan ni Ampatuan.

“I don’t think there’s an implication. Officially, the panel of the prosecutors and the President joins them oppose that motion, and we’re dismayed that it was granted. That’s the official stand.” Pahayag ni Roque.

Bago naging tagapagsalita ng pangulo, nagsilbi si Roque na abogado ng 58 mamahayag na pinatay ng Ampatuan sa Maguindanao noong 2009.

Samantala, kinumpirma naman nina Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea at Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process Jess Dureza na inimbitahan silang mag-ninong sa anak ni Ampatuan subalit kanila itong tinanggihan dahil sa may nauna na silang engagement.

Sa panig ni Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go, sinabi nito na wala siyang natatanggap na imbitasyon sa kasal na Ampatuan.

Bukod kina Medialdea, Dureza at Go, kinuha ring ninong ng anak ni Ampatuan si dating Vice President Jejomar Binay at kinuha namang ninang si Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
