Mga private army bubuwagin sa 2019 elections ayon kay Pangulong Duterte
Tiniyak ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ipabubuwag niya ang mga private army sa darating na halalan sa 2019.
Ayon sa pangulo, padidisarmahan niya ang lahat ng mga armadong grupo na ginagamit ng mga pulitiko.
Iginiit ng pangulo na siya mismo ay sumusunod sa Konstitusyon kung kaya dapat ring tumalima ang mga lokal na pulitiko.
Una rito, sinabi ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na 80% ng mga private army sa bansa ay nasa Mindanao region.
“During this election, wala ‘yang private army, private army. All will be disarmed and the ma — kami dito who are tasked to do it will do it in accordance with the Constitution. Iyan ang ma-assure ko sa inyo,” ani Duterte.
