Tone-toneladang buhangin at graba, nakumpiska sa Talibon port sa Bohol

Napigilan ng pinagsanib-puwersa ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources o DENR, Coast Guard Talibon at ng PNP Talibon ang tangkang pagpuslit ng sand & gravel, patungo sa bayan ng Talibon sa lalawigan ng Bohol.

Lulan ng LCT “PMI-8” o Deck Cargo Ship ang mga nabanggit na buhangin at graba.

Batay sa mga otoridad, galing sa Albuera, Leyte ang naturang barko na may kargang 1,300 cubic meter ng sand and grave at dumating sa Talibon port noong August 15, 2018.

Nasita noong nakaraang Sabado (August 18) ang mga tripulante at kapitan ng barko dahil hindi “valid” ang ipinakita nilang transport permit.

Dinala na ang limang crew ng barko sa Talibon Police Station para sa kaukulang imbestigasyon.

Posibleng masampahan din sila ng kasong paglabag sa Section 103 o theft of minerals, sa ilalim ng Republic Act 7942 o mas kilala sa tawag na “Philippine Mining Act of 1995″.
