WATCH: Likurang bahagi ng sumadsad na eroplano ng Xiamen Air naiangat na
Naiangat na ang tail end ng ng sumadsad na eroplano ng Xiamen Air.
Ayon sa update na ibinigay ng Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), ang pag-angat sa likurang bahagi ng eroplano ay nagbigay-daan para maialis ang mga bagahe na lamang nito.
Target na matanggal ang lahat ng bagahe sa eroplano upang gumaan ito at mas maging madali ang ginagawang recovery operations ng mga otoridad.
Hindi kasi mahatak ang eroplano dahil malambot ang lupa kung saan ito sumadsad bunsod ng magdamag na pag-ulan.
“Tail end of the aircraft was lifted to give way for offloading of baggage from aircraft compartment. Weight reduction would allow easier and faster recovery operations and further ensure that the exposure to risk of the recovery team is mitigated,” ayon sa abiso ng CAAP.
