Inihayag ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na asahan na ang nalalapit na balasahan sa mga opisyal ng pambansang pulisya.
Ayon kay PNP spokesperon Sr. Supt. Benigno Durana Jr., isa sa mga dahilan ay ang pagreretiro ng mahigit 40 na police general sa pagtatapos ng taon.
Maliban dito, nagiging mahigpit aniya ang pagsusuri ng PNP oversight committee sa performance ng mga unit commander.
Nauna nang nagkaroon ng balasahan sa Davao matapos ianunsiyo ang pag-upo ni PCSupt. Marcelos Morales bilang regional director.
Papalitan ni Morales ang magreretirong si PCSupt. Manny Gaerlan.
