Full security deployment ipinatutupad na sa NAIA

Kasunod ng pambobomba sa Lamitan, Basilan ay hinigpitan ng Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) ang seguridad sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Inanunsyo ito ni MIAA General Manager Ed Monreal bilang pagsunod sa direktiba ni Transportation Sec. Art Tugade.

Katunayan, nagpapatupad ngayon aniya sila ng 100 percent deployment ng kanilang organic airport police at mga contracted security forces para tumao sa lahat ng shifts.

Kaugnay nito pinayuhan ni Monreal ang pasahero na huwag ikaalarma ang pinahigpit na seguridad at sundin lamang ang nakagawian nitong airport procedure.

Bahagi ng pinahigpit nilang seguridad ang mas madalas na inspeksyon at random check ng mga sasakyan gamit ang bago nilang hybrid explosive detection equipment.

Dadagdagan din ang foot patrol at perimeter surveillance at dadalasan ang K9 paneling.
