Malacañang: BOL pinag-isipan pero hindi perpektong batas
Aminado ang Malacañang na hindi perpekto ang Bangsamoro Organic Law na una nang nilagdaan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte noong nakaraang linggo.
Pero ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, bagaman hindi perpekto ay hindi naman minadali ang pagbalangkas sa BOL at bunga ito ng kompromiso ng iba’t ibang grupo.
Sinabi pa ni Roque nagsagawa ng malawakan at malamang konsultasyon ang pamahalaan at ang Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) ukol sa BOL.
“Well, you know it wasn’t really rushed. It’s been there. It has been pending. It took us almost a year to discuss the BOL; there’s been substantial consultations. I note that—you know, the President even called members of the Congress and Senate – if I’m not mistaken – at least 3 times to the Palace ‘no,” dagdag pa ng opisyal.
Nilinaw rin ni Roque na bukas ang pangulo sa amyenda sa nasabing batas.
Gayunman, hindi matukoy ni Roque kung anong partikular na probisyon sa BOL ang maaring maamyendahan.
