Necrological service kay dating Justice Puno inihahanda na ng DOJ

Magkakaroon ang Department of Justice o DOJ ng necrological service para sa yumaong dating Court of Appeals Justice Ricardo Puno Sr.

Ayon kay Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra, isasagawa ang necrological service sa darating na Biyernes (July 27).

Nagpaabot naman ng pakikiramay si Gueverra sa mga naiwang mahal sa buhay ni Puno.

Sinabi ni Guevarra na nagluluksa ang buong DOJ sa pagkamatay ni Puno na isa aniya sa mga mahusay na department secretaries.

Si Puno ay nagsilbing Minister of Justice mula 1979 hanggang 1984 at siya ang founder ng Puno & Puno Law offices.

Si Puno ay ikinasal kay Pricilla Villanueva-Puno, habang anak nila ang ilan sa mga kilalang personalidad at pulitiko gaya ni TV public host at newspaper columnist Ricardo “Dong” Puno Jr., dating DILG Sec. Ronaldo Puno at dating House Deputy Speaker Roberto “Robbie” Puno.
