Direktor ng National Library of the Philippines, pumanaw na
Pumanaw na sa si National Library of the Philippines (NLP) Director Atty. Antonio Santos noong isang araw sa edad na 63.
Inatake sa puso si Santos habang nasa tour na may kaugnayan sa trabaho sa Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Nagparating ng pakikiramay ang Malakanyang at ang National Commission for Culture and the Arts sa mga naiwang kaanak at mahal sa buhay ni Santos.
Bago maging director ng NLP, tatlong dekadang nagsilbi bilang Law Librarian si Santos sa University of the Philippines College of Law.
Noong 2011 naman siya itinalaga ni Pangulong Aquino bilang direktor ng NLP, at sa ilalim ng kaniyang pamamahala umusbong ang maraming pagbabago sa institusyon.
Tatlong termino rin siyang nanilbihan bilang National President ng Philippine Librarians Association.
