CGMA, opisyal ng umupo bilang kauna-unahang babaeng House Speaker
Opsiyal ng umupo si dating Pangulo at ngayon Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo bilang ika-21 House Speaker at kauna-unahang babaeng maluklok sa puwesto.
Una dito ay nagkaroon ng kalituhan matapos manumpa si Arroyo bilang House Speaker bago ang nakatakdang ikatlong State of the Nation Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Matapos muling mag-convene ang Kamara, binoto ng 184 mga kongresista si Arroyo bilang bagong House Speaker kapalit ni Davao del Norte Rep. Pantaleon Alvarez.
Nanumpa si Arroyo kay Ang Kabuhayan Rep. Dennis Laogan na siyang pinakabatang kongresista ng 17th Congress.
Matatandaang si Arroyo ay na-detain dahil sa alegasyong korapsyon noong siya ay pangulong Pilipinas.
