Patay sa pananambang ang bagong upong kapitan ng Barangay Danao sa Jasaan, Misamis Oriental.

Nakilala ang biktima na si Alfredo Zapanta.

Ayon sa pulisya, nasa likod ng kaniyang bahay si Zapanta nang pagbabarilin siya ng dalawang lalaki.

Tumakas naman ang dalawang suspek sakay ng motorsiklo.

Tinitignang anggulo ng pulisya ang pulitika at personal na away bilang posibleng motibo sa krimen.
