Kennon Road sarado sa mga motorista dahil sa landslides at rockslides
Isinara pansamantala ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang Kennon Road dahil sa naitalang pagguho ng lupa.
Ayon sa abiso ng DPWH-Cordillera Administrative Region, nakapagtala ng landslides sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng Kennon Road.
Ito ay dahil sa tuloy-tuloy nap ag-ulan na nararanasan sa Baguio City.
Nagsasagawa na ng clearing operations ang maintenance crew ng DPWH gamit ang payloader para malinis ang mga gumuhong bato at lupa.
Maging ang tauhan ng Benguet Electric Company ay tumutulong din sa operasyon dahil may poste ng kuryente na tinamaan ng rockslide.
Payo ng DPWH sa mga motorista, sa Marcos Highway na lang muna dumaan.
