Full-cooperation tiniyak ng PNP sa SAF allowance probe

Nangako ang Philippine National Police ng kanilang buong kooperasyon sa isinasagawang pagdinig ng Senado kaugnay sa P58 Million subsistence allowance na hindi naibigay sa mahigit 4,000 SAF troopers simula taong 2016 hanggang 2017.

Ayon kay PNP Chief Police Director General Oscar Albayalde, suportado nila ang imbestigasyon at ipinauubaya na nila sa office of the ombudsman at senado ang resulta nito.

Sinabi nya rin na mapa-kasong kriminal o administratibo man ang  maaring kaharapin ng mga akusado ay welcome ito sa kanila.

Kahapon ay nagturuan at nagsisihan ang mga dating opisyal ng Philippine National Police Special Action Force o PNP-SAF sa isinagawang pagdinig ng Committee on Public Order na pinamumunuan ni Senator Panfilo Ping Lacson.

Paliwanag ni dating PNP SAF head Police Director Benjamin Lusad, hindi niya alam na hindi naibibigay sa SAF troopers ang kanilang dagdag na allowance na hawak ni dating SAF budget officer Police Senior Superintendent Andre Dizon.
