Nagpatupad ng price freeze ang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) sa Boracay Island.
Ayon kay DTI Region 6 Director Rebecca Rascon, ang price control ay awtomatikong ipinatutupad kasunod ng deklarasyon ng state of calamity.
Matatandaang nasa ilalim na ng state of calamity ang Baranggay Balabag, Baranggay Manoc-Manoc at Baranggay Yapak.
Tiniyak ni DTI Regional 6 Consumer Protection Division Chief Felisa Judith Degala sa DTI-Aklan Provincial Office na patuloy nilang binabantayan ang presyo ng mga pangunahing bilihin sa lugar.
Ang presyo ng mga produkto ay ang mga presyo pa rin matapos ipatupad ang state of calamity.
