Japanese landing ship nasa Maynila para sa isang port visit

Dumating sa Maynila para sa tatlong araw na goodwill visit ang Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) vessel JS Osumi.

Lulan ng barko ang nasa 150 officers at crew sa pangunguna ni Capt. Tomonoro Kobayashi.

Huling nasa bansa ang JS Osumi noong 2013 upang tumulong sa Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief Operations para sa mga naapektuhan ng Supertyphoon Yolanda.

Pinangunahan nina Captain Dennis Rommel Quines at Vice Admiral Robert Empedrad ang delagasyon ng Pilipinas sa isinagawang welcome ceremony.

Ayon kay Captain Lued Licuna, Director ng Naval Public Affairs Office layon ng goodwill visit na palakasin ang ugnayan ng Philippine at Japanese Navy.
