Tiniyak ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na kasado na ang seguridad bago ang pagsasara ng Boracay sa April 26.
Ayon sa PNP Regional Office sa Western Visayas, nasa 630 na mga pulis ang itinalaga sa isla.
Sinabi ni Regional Director Chief Superintendent Cesar Hawthorne na handa na ang security preparation sa naturang tourist destination.
Kapag sarado na ang isla, magpapatupad ang pulisya ng one entry, one exit point; no ID, no entry; at iba pang batas para masiguro ang payapa, maayos, at mabilis na rehabilitasyon at pagdadala ng serbisyo sa Boracay.
Si Metro Boracay Police Task Force Site Task Group Commander Senior Superintendent Jesus Cambay Jr. ang mangunguna sa mga pulis na magbabantay sa isla.
