Comelec umaapela sa Malakanyang na ideklarang special non-working holiday ang May 14

Pormal nang humirit ang Commission on Elections (Comelec) kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ideklera nang special non-working holiday ang May 14 o ang araw ng Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan elections.

Base sa pinalabas na Comelec Resolution no. 10301, iginiit ng Comelec na kinakailangang maideklara ng Malakanyang na holiday sa May 14 para mabigyan ng pagkakataon ang mga botante na nakaboto

Ayon sa Comelec naipasa na nila sa tanggapan ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea ang resolusyon.
