Kampo ni CJ Sereno, kinuwestyon ang umano’y pagmamadali sa pagdedesisyon sa quo warranto petition
Kinuwestyon ng kampo ni Chief Justice on leave Maria Lourdes Sereno ang tila pagmamadali na desisyunan ang quo warranto petition laban sa pagkatalaga nito sa pwesto.
Pahayag ito ng tagapagsalita ni Sereno matapos sabihin ni Acting Chief Justice Antonio Carpio na posibleng sa buwan ng Mayo ay maglabas na ang Korte Suprema ng desisyon sa quo warranto petition ni Solicitor General Jose Calida.
Ayon kay Atty. Josa Deinla, hindi nila maiwasang magtanong kung bakit ito minamadali.
Naka-recess anya ang Supreme Court matapos ang April 24 na ang huling en banc session sa Baguio City at sa Hunyo pa magre-resume ang Korte Suprema.
Giit ng kampo ni Sereno, mahalagang kaso ang quo warranto na kapag napagbigyan ay pwedeng maapektuhan ang sistema ng hudikatura.
Una nang ibinasura ng Supreme Court ang lahat ng intervention pleas liban ang mula sa Board of Governors ng Integrated Bar of the Philippines na noted ng korte.
