3 lungsod sa Metro Manila nasa election watchlist ng NCRPO

Ilang linggo bago ang nakatakdang barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan elections sa May 14 ay inihayag ng pulisya na 53 barangay sa mga lungsod at munisipalidad sa Metro Manila ang nasa election watchlist areas.

Ayon kay outgoing National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director Oscar Albayalde, kabilang sa election watchlist ang Caloocan, Navotas at Maharlika Village sa Taguig.

Ang nasabing mga lugar anya ay prone sa karahasan at mga insidente na may kinalaman sa eleksyon at pulitika.

Samantala, nasa kabuuang 15,040 na mga pulis ang itatalaga sa 730 polling centers sa Metro Manila.

Wala pa rito ang augmentation na manggagaling sa joint task force ng NCRPO at Armed Forces of the Philippines.

Sa nakaraang barangay election noong October 2013, nasa 6,195 na mga barangay ang idineklarang hot spots.
