Development plan para sa MSME inaprubahan na ni Pang. Duterte
Nilagdaan na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang isang executive order na nag-aapruba sa anim na taong development plan para sa mga micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Sa ilalim ng Executive Order (EO) No. 50 o MSME Development Plan 2017-2022 na ginawa ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), layunin nito ang mga sumusunod:
– improved business climate
– improved access to finance
– enhanced management and labor capacities
– improved access to technology and innovation
– improved access to market
Nakasaad din sa naturang EO na nais ng kagawaran na matulungan ang mga MSMEs sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay sa mga ito ng business guidance hindi lamang mula sa DTI ngunit maging sa business sector; madaling access sa pondo, mga kagamitan, maging sa merkado.
Nakapaloob sa EO na lahat ng mga kaugnay na ahensya ng pamahalaan, kabilang ang mga government-owned or -controlled corporations (GOCCs), at mga local government units ay dapat sundin at ipatupad ang naturang plano.
Ang MSME Development Plan ay magsisilbing blueprint o gabay para integration ng pamahalaan at pribadong sektor para sa pagpapaunlad ng MSME.
